About Practically Social
There are already about a million blogs out there about social media. It’s enough to make your head spin. And if you’re a restaurant owner or just someone who works in the food game, you’re probably thinking, “Who has time to even learn about this crap?”

Practically Social is a blog based on pragmatism. It cuts through talk on “audience engagement” and “community building” and tells you not only how to do those things, but how to evaluate what strategies make sense for you and your store. And because the author is learning about social media in restaurants as she goes, you’re going to be learning right along with her. Sometimes this blog will involve sarcasm or mild curse words. It will always involve honesty.

About Lindsay Baish
Lindsay Baish is a social media and marketing enthusiast. This means she practices social marketing for a living and for fun (which makes her kind of a nerd). In addition to being the Social Media Manager for Landry’s Restaurants, she also consults with small businesses, government agencies and non profits to help them communicate better. Lindsay has even taught a class or two on social media, so that means people must consider her a little knowledgeable.

In her private life, Lindsay is a Chicago native transplanted to Houston, Texas. She likes water sports, her dogs, and the Missouri Tigers.
